A passer by was walking along Castle Lane, North Baddesley when he stumbled across the “shiny”object.
It is believed the cold has caused the contents to deform and create the strange shape which looks like a body part.
A comment on Facebook said: “That’s the bottom part of a lava lamp with the contents congealed together and hard from being cold.”
